Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Williamsburg Historic Area, VA propose une piscine couverte et un bain Ă remous, mais aussi une salle de fitness et un jardin.
Do not stay at this property. When we arrived at the lobby was disgusting the air-conditioning was broke. The third floor hallway had bleach stains everywhere. Our room smelled terrible and there was mildew in the AC. Holes in the wall and red stains throughout the carpet. The floors are filthy.
Hot water ran out after a few minutes in shower, key card readers on room door and outside door were old and did not work properly. We had to try the card 10-20 times, depending on when it responded, to get the door opened. Things after getting two different cards coded. Hot tub was broken and inoperable and breakfast room was uncomfortably warm. Staff was friendly and kind, however.
Service was good and everything was well cleaned. However, the overall condition of the room and hotel is aged and lacking maintenance. Shower head was noticably aged and only worked in one mode, which was the smaller stream. This is an inexpensive and quick repair and a good indication for the overall condition of the rest of the hotel. Shower curtain rod was also in poor condition, causing the curtain to open if it fell out of its proper position. Window curtain was off track and didnt have the proper clips to put it back in. There was a high pitch ringing sound that would go off every 10 minutes or so. Believe it was coming from the AC unit, but not entirely sure. Hot tub in the pool area was not working. Side entrance door was extremely difficult to use. Only opened if you lifted the handle up, and the card reader would regularly take multiple attempts to read the card. On two occasions I gave up and had to walk around to the front entrance.
The staff was very friendly so that was a plus. Unfortunately the hotel is in need of some serious upgrades. The lobby was not very clean which was pretty much the âfeelâ of the whole place. Carpet walking to our room was filthy and stained. The room itself was decent but definitely had some cleanliness issues in there as well. The breakfast was pretty good, but again, the eating area not the cleanest.
Our room was moist and moldy. There was mold all over the ceiling, lamp shade, bathroom, & air condition unit. There were blood stains on the sheet and pillow case, and on the bedside table. Our TV had no signal and only a few channels worked. The cabinet our refrigerator was in was broken. The bathroom had snot/boogers smeared on the wall. The fire alarm was hanging out of the ceiling. The air filters in the air conditioning unit were FILTHY and the air smelled like mildew & mold (I have a child with a mold allergy). The carpet was stained and disgusting. The bed linens were snagged up like a cat had stayed in that room. The window was leaking and rain was pouring in all over our window seal, air conditioning unit and carpet. No wonder the room was moldy and smelled like mildew. The door handle on our door was broken, with a sign on it that said âpull up on handle.â We asked to be moved to a different room but were informed there were no other rooms available. We asked for a refund and were told we had to go through Expedia to get a refund. We called the number on our email confirmation and started the refund process. We checked out of our room within an hour and thirty minutes of checking in. We had to scramble to find a last minute room available to accommodate our family of 4 at 7pm. We ended up having to pay $50 more for a room than what we had paid to stay at the Country Inn & Suites, because we had to settle for what was available.
Weed choked grounds in desperate need of attention. Filthy hallway carpets. Black streaks all over the bath/shower wall. No butter at breakfast. Lousy place.
The worst hotel I ever stayed in Williamsburg. Property over grown with weeds grass ice maker on my floor never worked entire stay.. commode never cleaned.ac unit not working properly.hall carpet stained & dirty.had to ask for soap towels repeatedly.. terrible.. terrible.. never again will I use Radisson..
Definitely not the same experience we had even a year ago. When we pulled into the parking lot we thought it was closed/condemned. We were the only car in the parking lot beside the abandoned one by the dumpster. (Not a joke). Stains everywhere had multipled and the whole place just felt dirty. Plan on eating somewhere else for breakfast. Only bright spot was the staff. I would recommend going somewhere else but in no circumstances pay more than $75 for a room here.
It was a good stay, just a few minor problems, the carpets were dirty, as in old stains, all over thebmain of the hotel hallway and in the room. But the service was excellent, our room's fridge was not working, and they found a solution quickly. And just really nice people at the front desk. Breakfast was nice enough.
Its been a few years since my last visit, but this time around was a different experience.
My guess is there has been a change in ownership/management cause it shows. Breakfast was poor, it use to be above average and edible
The pool was dark and a bit cool, no hot tub.
This place was not in great condition. First, they sent us to a room that was never cleaned. Beds werenât made, and the bathroom was filthy. I had to bring all of my families luggage back down stairs to a different room. Next, all we(family of 4) got our new room my son decided get a shower. The hot water lasted 5 mins. I called down to the main lobby and they said that there was a fire in the neighborhood earlier that day and the water pressure was off that why we didnât have hot water. The next morning I got a shower and again the hot water didnât last longer than 5 mins. My dad family and would never stay there again.
