The hotel was under renovation and could not provide the room. The manager made a reservation for my wife and I at the Best western next to their hotel for the same price. It was close to 11 pm and we did not have time to look around so we accepted. The room there was not as nice as the photo of the room we had reserved. The breakfast was horrible. They did not even have milk to go with the cereal. We had reserved for 2 nights because we wanted to visit the historic site of Savannah. At 2 pm we decided to come back to the hotel and cancell for the second night because we wanted to travel back home sooner. The check out time was at 11 am and the check in was at 15:00. We arrived at the hotel at 14:45 and they charged us 75$ to cancell the reservation. That was very cheap on their part as they had at that time 18 rooms vacant.
I do not recommend the place . Expedia should make sure that when a room is offered for rent that the hotel is able to respect itâs engagement.
Room was dirty. Pull out couch had someone elseâs bodily fluids all over couch and sheets. Customer service was not great. Told us they donât clean the couch and sheets after every person which is gross.
I would not use this company. I tried to make a late night reservation and after midnight it went into the next day but not checkin until 3pm that day.
We stopped at hotel that night and they wouldn't cancel the reservation or refund it and they had no rooms available.
They just kept our full payment and basically said sorry. They had plenty of time to rebook those rooms for later that day. We were working with Hotels.com and they both blamed the other.
Overall very good experience. Clean. Easy to access. We came with a dog. We didn't like the fact that they charge $100 ,insurance fee for potential damage. It was refundable, but not everyone can pay that on a moments notice. Other than that. I would recommend.
