We pulled up to the hotel and it was closed. It was surrounded by construction fencing and there were people hauling mattresses out. It would have been nice to know the hotel we were booked at didnât exist anymore. Very disappointing!
DO NOT EXPECT KIDS TO BE ABLE TO SWIM IN THE POOL. IT IS FREEZING AND MANAGEMENT TRIES TO SAY IT IS SET TO 75. MOLD AROUND TUB, BASEBOARD MISSING WITH NAILS STICKING OUT. BATHROOM WASNâT CLEAN
Im terribly disappointed with this hotel in Kalisbell. We had a reservation I made a few days prior to our trip. I called the morning we were to travel and stay at the hotel as my husband was super sick and was diagnosed with Covid. I called expedia first to see about a refund. In turn expedia called the hotel and ask about a refund. Expedia was told no refunds but the expedia rep told me to call and ask personally due to the circumstance. I called and spoke to someone at the front, she said she was aware that her manager had just spoken to expedia and put me on hold to speak to this manager. She came back to the phone and said their policy is no refunds but they were going to ask the "owners" and they would contact me and let me know......well its been 6 days and no contact and no refund....its very disappointing to know that they arent able to even to take the time to call and speak to me. I dont recommend this hotel.....no refunds during covid is not a great way to run a business!!
Very outdated. Bathroom was dirty, soap slime on soap ledge in tub shower, shower curtain was too long and scummy at bottom. Black curly hair in sink and tub. And skid mark in toilet. Yuck.
We were 4 at our room and only give us 3 towels, we ask for more and haves 2 more, in the morning for breakfast they didnât have spoons so my kids couldnât eat cereal and milk, they have hot water and no tea. We ask for help and they told us they donât serve tea and they have been out of spoons and they didnât know when they will get more. We were there fir soccer tournament and we wanted our kids to get breakfast before games so we end up waking up even early to get them a better breakfast. We wonât stay there again.
Had to change rooms twice (once due to door being not very secure and once due to keycard reader not working). However, staff was very helpful and understanding in processing these changes.
The phone had a flashing light when we arrived which wouldn't allow me to call the front desk. I went down to the desk & reported it twice, but it never got fixed. No safety bars or non slip mat for the shower, no mat to step onto from the shower, short on towels & washcloths when we arrived. Staff would not give a printed receipt because we didn't book directly with them.
Went to the front desk to ask for a couple of extra pillows as the ones in the room were small and was told by the lady at the front desk that she was too busy (2 people in line to check in) and I needed to come back in a couple hours and I could ask for them then. She didn't ask for a room number so she could get them when not so busy.
