When we pulled up we noticed it was an older hotel. Which isnt a deal breaker. Front desk was friendly and nice. Once we got our room keys we went to the elevator and went to the 2nd floor. As soon as we got off the elevator we noticed how dirty the carpet was. When we opened the door on room 229 we were hit with a dirty/musty smell. Thinking the air was set high we teied to cool it down with the AC. This still didnt help the smell. Bathroom was dirty and even brown stains on the walls. The floor was so dirty that we kept our shoes on the whole time. Definitely will not stay there again. Ive stayed in worse but not with my 5 year old. We decided to check out and lost our money due to a no cancelation policy from Hotels.com.
When we arrived late Friday they gave us an extremely dirty room with a stained smelly carpet and room smelling like a dirty mop . The air conditioning was not cooling. We asked for another room it was not until the next day that we were moved. The carpet was still with stains, the corridor carpet was all stained and dirty. That second day the cleaning service did not du the cleaning despite us requesting the front. Desk, the AC was also not cooling properly.
