We could not check in because none of the card readers worked, and the staff didn’t have a way to take down our credit card for incidentals. The staff asked repeatedly if we maxed out all 3 of our credit cards and debit card because it couldn’t be the hotel’s problem. We said no. Then he asked if all 3 of our banks blocked the cards. He didn’t stop blaming us until the next customer came and the hotel card readers also couldn’t read her card. We stood for over 30 minutes while he made phone calls to figure out how to check people in. He became frustrated and dropped the f-bomb! Then we had to write down our credit card on a piece of paper to get the room keys. Once we finally got to the room, the key did not work, so we had to walk all the way back to front desk, at the other side of the building. After 9pm, once we were settled in bed, people started rattling on the door handle to try to get in because the hotel had double booked the room. At every turn, different hotel staff made it seem like it was our fault and not theirs. Even at check out, no one took responsibility. We were told to stand aside while they figured out how to address the problems. Never stay here!
