Between the odor of Marijuana in the air or the other foul stench, to the grimey floor and stained sheets and pillowcases. Avoid this place at all costs!
There was dried vomit on the carpet beside the desk. No towels or toilet paper in the room. There was a dirty rag draped over the shower curtain. We went to check out immediately. The front desk was on the phone with the manager. The manager said as long as we did not write a bad review they would fully refund us. The manager then refused the refund when Expedia contacted them.
Absolutely disgusted with the room and the manager.
The staff were very friendly and courteous, but the room was not good. The beds were not comfortable. There were lights and outlets that didnât work. It is also very dated. Itâs a strictly not smoking hotel but the hallways stunk of cigarette smoke.
Staff was accommodating and put our two rooms close together as requested. Other than that, it was the worst place ever! Strong smell of weed in the hall when we got back at 10:30 pm. Could see through the gap around the door into the adjoining room. Heater fan made terrible noise. No screen on window. Needed to open window to get rid of smell. Bathroom floor very dirty, freezing cold and light shining from under the bathtub. TV was the size of a computer monitor. Mattress was sunken in the middle so we rolled to center. Fire alarm went off at 5 am! No explanation other than, "that's happened before". Breakfast included was a joke. Fire trucks were there 3 times between 5 am and noon. Requested refund and was granted, but when I got home I found my credit card was charged twice, two different amounts. I have the receipt for credit to my account, but refund doesn't show up on my statement? Phone call pending.
Could feel every spring in the bed. There was a smell in the room and I had to buy air freshener for the room. Fire alarm went off a 3 am and the fire department showed up and checked everything. Not much for contental breakfast it was noisy at night inside the hotel and front lobby smelled like refer at check in.
We never even entered the building. We pulled in to the parking lot and our mild dropped open. My daughters would not get out of the car due to the condition of the hotel. It looked very, very shady and actually unsafe never will stay there. I donât care if I lost my money because we didnât stay, but we got a different hotel. They should not even be an option in Hotels.com. I went to another hotel and told them where we were gonna stay and apparently the police there are there a lot and thereâs a lot of drug activity there.
We checked in, and while the hotel is older, we were ok. However, it was 19 degrees on our first night there and we had no heat in our room, we were all quite cold. We decided to check out after one night and the front desk staff was apologetic and very accommodating with that. They claim they submitted a form to Expedia to refund the second night and to take an amount off of the first night for the heat not working. I am hoping that is accurate, but struggling to find that on Expedia to find out the status. The contact/support option on Expedia is hard to utilize for these things.
Bathroom light did not work, plugged sink, dirty carpet, just overall worn down property. Would not recommend. Fire alarm went off at 5 am and we just left as firefighters told us we needed to evacuate.
