Disgusting with poor customer service
When I walked in there was no one at the front desk which seems to be typical. It appeared as though there may be no actual staff, just a family running the business.
After I was acknowledged and checked in I went to my room and was underwhelmed with the condition. The remote to the tv did not work, there was a chair with some sort of electrical cord unplugged and just thrown on top of it, an eyelash and a few hairs on one of the pillow cases, hair and other debris on the bathroom floor, and toilet paper shoved in the peepholes of the door.
I tried to let it go as I would only be there one night but then I found debris in my covers. A piece of something that appeared as though it could have been a booger and another piece of something that appeared as though it were either an old dead bug or maybe a small piece of dirt with a couple hairs in it. Whatever it was, it should not have been in the bed if it were clean.
I decided there was no way I would be able to get any sleep given the condition of the room so I went to check out and ask for a refund. I was quiet and kept my experience from other guests and politely asked for a refund. They told me I would need to take it up with hotels.com.
Hotels told me i would need a refund from them since payment was processed. I came in to get the refund situated the next morning but their “manager” was out. They offered to call me later but never followed up.
A refund for the stay I did not experience was never processed.
