The assistant manager that checked us in, was not accommodating. We were a larger group ( a group of 5) staying in a larger suite that accommodated 5 to sleep. I asked for extra towels because we all were going to take showers. We had a long day of road travel, the woman flat out told me no. She would not budge on the blunt answer, I even explained that we were a larger group ( all girls) staying in one room and needed at least another set of towels. No customer service was demonstrated, another request that I needed was a set of pillows because of a heart condition I cannot sleep flat. I just needed two more pillows to prop myself up. I also got a flat no. Iâm surprised these were all denied, we were not asking unreasonable requests. We felt very uncomfortable and the lady was very harsh, she harassed my nieces when they were in the pool. I canât help think this was done because of some other issue ( racial?). I want to say I would never return to Hampton Inn because of this employee but the lady that checked us out as I needed to leave, turned our uncomfortable stay to a tolerable one. She did say, several customers had complained about this manager, so there are som sort of employee issues there and itâs leeching to horrible experiences to the customers. Beware if you stay here and come across this assistant manger. I hope you do not encounter her, she made me feel very uncomfortable and upset. Especially when I was traveling with my nieces and sister doing a girls trip.
Clean, spacious, accommodating and the best unexpected added bonus was, we had to check out early because we were traveling and they offered us a complementary breakfast bag to go. Very awesome place!
hotel was well located to our needs and convenient to restaurants. The indoor pool was nice, although we didn't use it and there was a workout room that was well equipped. There was no breakfast but they had coffee in the lobby. i felt that for the price, that should have been included. I have never stayed anywhere that it wasn't.
The hotel it self is ok. The air conditioning isnât great in room. It did cool but still was stuffy. The breakfast is horrible. I donât think this hotel is worth the high price I paid.
So the customer service was great as far as the people working.. however the fire alarm went off late Friday evening the m proceeded to go off during the night once we were back in our rooms.. which made for a long night. Other than that our stay all weekend was great. The staff were super kind and personable. The breakfast was good and evening was fresh and restocked.
