Bed was comfortable, room clean, bathroom hasn't been updated since motel was built in 50's or 60's. Barely room to turn around in the shower. Main complaint: the SMELL! It was a combination of "old smell" mixed with stale smoke/moth balls? It was gross.
Clean enough. Dated, but attempt to make it nice. What bothered us was the window air conditioner blew out moldy air. Lots of mycotoxins. Terrible for our health. Can't stay here again. Very safe town.
A good place to stay for the night and get some rest but wouldnât want stay for a long haul do to the fact you can't fix anything to eat in the room.
If your not 6 ft. tall you need a short ladder to be able to adjust the AC or heat because the heating
/AC unit controls are located near the ceiling. We would stay again if need be they have reasonable rates but not much for emnatives.
Gentleman whom operated motel was very kind and went beyond to accommodate us. A little extra cleaning of the grout in shower are would be nice. Will stay again if ever needed.
Place was really nice and good value for the price. Very friendly staff. Carpet could have been cleaned better in the corners.. I would like to say that if they would clean up the leaves from the ground outside it would have appeared cleaner and more cared for. Was very nice and quiet away from the highway.
The building was in kind of poor condition. When I looked out the back window of our room, the yard was a mess. The shower drain did not drain, and the door to the shower was very narrow. My husband opened the window in the bathroom, and the sill was dirty and full of spider webs. When you turned on the faucet, it sprayed straight out all over you.
Room was very clean the fixtures are a little old but it was a nice place to stay just to get some sleep and some rest the owners were very nice people and took care of any problems that I had
Air conditioner was very noisy - turned it off so we could get to sleep. Bare concrete about 10" wide in doorway between bathroom and main room. Tiles missing along bottom of wall in bathroom. Dark grey stains in bathtub. Moths at night in bedroom-acceptable - small beetles in bathroom, NOT!! Towels were either blue or purple - hard to determine - they were faded into various shades of the two. General condition of room was not in good shape. No coffee pot, no breakfast and no hair-dryer. Would not return here again.
The Geneva Inn is located in the quaint & friendly town of Geneva. The lady that checked us in was a pleasure, and went out of her way to be helpful to us. Our room was clean and adequate and met all of our needs. We stayed at the Geneva Inn last April while on vacation, and did not hesitate to make reservations there again when we had to make this trip. It is definitely not a well known 5 Star that one finds in larger cities, it is more like a breath of fresh air. We would gladly stay there again.

This hotel was terrible. The airconditioner was so loud it could not be used. They advertized breakfast, there was none. When I asked them about breakfast they pointed to a cafe down the street that opened at 6 AM. I do not think hotels.com should have this in their hotels list.

This is an old motel that hasn't received much love over the past few decades. Everything is basically clean and functional, but old and scuffed and dented. Water pressure in the shower is great; towels are very thin and small. Most (perhaps all) of the rooms are listed as non-smoking, but ours had a strong smell of old stale smoke. If you just need a place to sleep with no other amenities, this is OK, but it's not a terribly enjoyable place. There's another small (three-suite) hotel downtown that is much newer and more comfortable but runs about the same price; I would strongly recommend staying there instead.
