Horrible experience & dishonest business practices
The staff is rather flimsy. Some employees are okey, others are so captivated by their computer, they don't even push the button to open the automatic door for the customers. Forget carrying heavy luggage. The sheets show suspicious stains and the duvet cover is open from both sides, letting the duvet get in contact with you. Knowing that duvets don't get systematically washed when a new customer checks in...Yuk. Walls are paper thin, you can literally hear all your neighbors' conversations. Loud music is also blasted all day long until late. Noise adds up to more noise.
One day I left at 3pm and placed the sign on my door to have my room cleaned. When I came back, my room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff member said the cleaning personnel at 4pm and didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. In my book, from 3pm to 4pm, it’s 1 working hour.
Although I prepaid for my entire stay, that there was no incidentals whatsoever, one of the employees overcharged my credit card without my consent/my signature. I emailed the general manager, but he didn’t condescend to respond. They don't seem to care. This hotel is way overrated. Its only asset is the location. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
