If you're in Waco this is an awesome place to stay! The staff is wonderful and super friendly. The rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast was good, they even had strawberry waffle batter!
We were pleasantly surprised with the location and cleanliness of the Hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent and well stocked. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Now for the negatives: The pillows were horrible, like stuffed with whatever. The water pressure was so low that a shower was horrible. We had a problem with our room keys working and had to get them exchanged twice. Most of these problems could be avoided with upgrading the pillows- Walmart is "next door". Check your room key machine! I don't know what you can do about the water pressure but a sponge bath at a hotel is unacceptable. Maybe try a plumber for advice.
Check in was great! The front desk agent was so kind. The room was clean and 2 king beds was a great and needed find! The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good and many places to sit. Would stay here again!
We got the bigger double queen room which served us very well. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure was low, but maybe that's across the board for Hewitt. I was surprised how much I heard the highway noise at night. I learned on our second night that I had to "tuck" the black out curtains, otherwise light came though all night. Speaking of curtains, I'll try to include a picture of what appears to be mold from the AC on the curtain. I'm guessing they just haven't seen it.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but the provided breakfast was severely lacking. No protien offered except for some frozen(?) sort of refrigerated(?) sausage biscuit things with no heating instructions. Coffee was good, but thatâs about all I can say about the breakfast.
Shower flooded the bathroom. No way to shower without that happening. Carpet seemed old and dirty. Room was loud, air conditioner was also loud. Needs two luggage stands.
