We requested an accessible room. We checked in and went to the room. The shower was in a tub, as is most often the case. I returned to the front desk and the clerk reassigned our room. The shower was still in a tub. I requested a walk-in shower and the clerk again reassigned us a room and walked with me down to the new room, which had a walk-in shower The clerks were always friendly and helpful. The walk-in shower got water all over the bathroom floor, despite the two drains in the floor. I used the bath mat and my towel (after drying off) to get most of the water off the floor, and was grateful that neither of us fell on the wet floor. I was surprised that housekeeping did not come to pick up the wet towels and bring fresh ones, but went to the desk and the clerk was again happy to help. It wasn't until a couple of days later that I saw the notice on the bathroom mirror that housekeeping comes every other day. That sounds like a good policy - I just hadn't noticed the sign before.
