You get what you pay for. The location is walking distance from the Old Town and Piata Urini, the city's center. The room is small but sufficient for one person. Tiny bathroom typical of old European buildings. The water stream in the shower is meager. Don't count on the shower gel offered by the hotel. There is no place for a laptop to work with. The room is overcrowded with items for sale, mostly alcoholic beverage.
There are two bus lines in walking distance, and with a daily pass going around the city is inexpensive and convenient. I bought a 3 days pass for 20 RON and it was the bargain of the decade for me.
WARNING: when the hotel quotes a service price for you, always double check the denomination: is it in Euro or RON?
Will I go there again? probably not my first choice but I wouldn't rule it out.
