If you are looking for a comfortable place that is not the Ritz, but is clean and SUPER locally convenient with just a 5min walk from Waikiki beach, then Kuhio Banyan is the spot! The full kitchen (and Target right on the corner) was a huge plus. The Staff are friendly and helpful, and the area is close to bus stops, shops, and a myriad of yummy eateries... Would definitely consider staying here again on a return trip to Oahu.

Terrible STAFF. ALL OF THEM HAVE ATTITUDES (XCEPT FOR JOHN). THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND THE GIRL IN THE EVENING ... TRASH! SHE DOES NOT EMBODY THE ALOHA SPIRIT INSTEAD SHE EMBRACES THE TRASH OF COMPTON.

Apartment style hotel that was a good stay. Staff was very helpful and thorough since I had an after-hours check-in, make sure to call them on the day of your flight if you land after 8-9pm. Room came with a little kitchen with dishes which was super cool. I think the location was the best part, super close to so many food spots and shops!

Great budget place located right in front of the International Market. Just a 10-minute walk to the beach. The nearby nightclub adds fun to the vibrant life. Free umbrella and towel for the beach, which is perfect. Friendly and helpful staff.

I just had the opportunity to read some of the other reviews (days after our stay). It is my opinion, the value of staying at the Banyan is first, the pricing and the secondly the convenience of the location. It is not recommended for first time visitors. Some of the staff were nicer than others. Everything in the room worked and we did not need the services of the housekeeping staff while we occupied the room. If you prefer a quieter location, ask for a higher floor room away from the night club, but you probably cannot escape the morning noise of the garbage pickup truck.

Jessie was amazing either way his customer service. It is conveniently located near to everything you need to do in Waikiki. Rally great rates for what felt like my very own studio apartment. A little on the older side, but I’d definitely stay here again and very worth the dollars I spent :)

When we first arrived we were disappointment by the condition of the property. It could use some attention and a remodel. The staff though was great, amazing location, and after a day it grew on us. Our room overlooked a pretty filthy rooftop which was not great, but our room was clean and just what we needed. The AC system is small and not great but compared to not having AC at all it cooled the room up after a couple of days. Thankfully there were also fans. Overall we had a great stay and would return. Parking is a nightmare in the area and expensive for overnight parking and nearly impossible to find street parking.

Location is great. It’s across from the International Marketplace. The room had old green carpet, a Murphy bed and a kitchenette. There was a nightclub 2 floors under us. The noise was unreal. Thumping bass, screaming people, shouting outside until 3:30 am. I can typically sleep through anything—not this.

お部屋の掃除は24時間前までにお願いしないとやってもらえないので、気をつけた方が良いです。洗濯機などがあるので利用をお勧め。 場所が凄く便利なところなのでそこだけは◎でした(^^)お風呂がシャワーしかなくてアメニティもボディシャンプーのみなので、慌てて買いました。色々気をつけて準備して行けば良いと思います。
