Don't miss this place. You take a dirt road into the forest but well worth it when you get there(make sure to arrive before dark). The Lodge is beautiful and the hosts Josh and his wife Vianca are fantastic. There isn't a restaurant on site but bring you own groceries there are 2 fabulous kitchens for you to use, plus a BBQ grill. There is exercise equipment, a pool table and a hot tub, and many other things for you or the kids to use. If you rent the Moose room you even have a hot tub in your room-it was great. This is a great place for a romantic get away, plenty for kids to do, or for a wedding and reception(rent the whole place). All spaces super clean. Access to the lake with all the water toys you might need, ATV and snowmobile trails. Wished I had booked more than 1 night, if we are back in the area again will definitely stay a while. If you love adventure, rural, rustic and a homey atmosphere, this is the place for you. Enjoy hot tub, sitting around a fire and meeting new people. I would recommend bringing your own food to cook or eat before arriving, as there no near restaurants. You do share a bathroom with other guests and rooms are very basic with no TV . The place to go if you love peace and quietness.

The kitchen was well enough supplied with mix and match dishes,but I would not have felt comfortable making a meal there. The stove had many burners and many that did not work. I made a simple breakfast one morning for the two of us. Our host said he'd clean the dishes and pots. They were low on dish soap and paper towels. Our room, the moose room seemed to be the most luxurious. We had a Jacuzzi tub, which I used although it would not be easy for some people. Bed comfortable but high. I am very short. Need a small step stool. We liked the property, very serene and out in the country. Be prepared for gravel road

The accommodations were very good. The lodge is a shared area set up with large common space and kitchen areas. I enjoyed the quiet. The only downside was that access to the facility way by way of 3 miles of dirt road. I suggest travelers use a high ground clearance vehicle.

This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. I would give it a 10 if possible. The owners made you feel welcome and were very accommodating. Room and property was better than advertised! Its remote location along with a lake front on property was awesome. The fact that they had kayaks/canoes for guests to use was such a pleasant surprise. I loved just sitting in the hammock by the lake and watching the birds. My son loved kayaking on the lake. I loved not having to unload my kayak. I wish I booked a longer stay here. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a break from our busy lives.
