This hotel is pretty rough and outdated. It's a roof over your head but definitely sub par for condition. Breakfast the waffles tasted really bad. I had to eat elsewhere.
We traveled for a sports tournament and the hotel was as expected. We did hear the train as mentioned in other reviews, however we were near the front of the building so it was not loud enough to keep us up. The building is older and could use an overall remodel, but it was as expected. The beds were comfortable minus the pull out as you could feel every single spring. Multiple large stains were visible on the pull out. There was a fridge in the rooms and the size of the room was generous. Overall we would stay there again given the location and size. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Check in, out, and self parking was straight forward.
Room could have been cleaned a little better. Was a bit dusty. There is railroad tracks nearby so we heard a couple of trains during the night blowing their horn as well as noise from an upstairs guest who couldnât keep their dog quiet, so it was difficult to get steady sleep.
Bed was comfortable, and it was quiet which made for a great night of sleep. Hotel is outdated & could use some TLC with carpet, paint, light fixtures & decor.
