Booked primarily because traveling with children and wanted the pool/spa for entertainment - these facilities were closed under maintenance but nowhere during booking was that mentioned. When asked for any of kind of accomodation for the false advertising, I was given an excuse that because I booked third party, they would not give any discounts.
Meanwhile, wildfires were ongoing in the area, because of that we were forced to abandon our trip to the area and they told me they would refund me a night due to the natural disaster - but when time came for that, they still claimed could not help me due to booking with a third party.
So do I not use hotels.com or do I not use the hotel? I am sure certain accomodations could have been made, regardless of the third party booking.
