Overall, my experience was mixed. I noticed that the lodges dedicated to Hotel.com guests are situated right at the entrance where there's a lot of traffic in and out. This can be a bit noisy.
Unfortunately, the room I stayed in had a strong odor, which was unpleasant. I brought this issue to the staff's attention, but no solution was provided. It's disappointing that this wasn't addressed, as it affected my comfort during the stay.
Real log home, impressed by the quality of it however starts to need a little bit of love on the outside and repairs at some places.
Itâs too bad, almost the whole complex is paved with asphalt making it like a big parking lot in a setting of log homes. Could have been a lot more trees in that setting too.
We stayed in one of the log cabin with our family of four with young kids. Its bit run down property. We found the sofa and overall inside rooms was smells very muddy & bad! had to keep the all the window and doors open to get fresh air in.
Easy check in and friendly staff.
The cabin is somewhat small, but ok. There was no kitchen, only a microwave, but also pots to cook in?
Easy check out as well.
Our cabin was comfy and clean. It seemed to be recently updated, as everythink looked new and fresh. The location was great for easy access to Yellowstone and the restaurants in town.
We found the hibernation station to be a convenient base for visiting Yellowstone National Park. We spent four nights here. The cabins and bedding were comfortable. It was convenient to the park's western entrance and close to a variety of restaurants and shops.
The Hibernation Station seemed like a great local run business but missed on a few things and could use some updates and better maintenance. The Hotwater didnât work for an entire day, the upstairs unit shower leaked into one of the bedrooms, and the ac unit was very very noisy. It was a quaint little cabin and could just use some good maintenance and TLC. I did see they were updating the unit next to ours so I am sure this business is working on making the upgrades. But for $450+ a night I expect a little more than!
