Our room was not ready (clean) 2.5 hours after check-in time. When we asked how long it might be, all we were told is how short staffed the hotel had been for the last few days. When we asked for a discount, we were told by the front desk employee wearing a Victoria Secret tee shirt and no name tag that âeveryone else has been a lot more understanding than you.â Never did get a discount or anything resembling an apology.
The air conditioning unit sound like a jet engine. The bearing the fan or something must be shot. It was so loud we had to turn it off during the night.
Very nice hotel. Very clean and modern. I would stay there again. Price was reasonable. One night stay. I would have tried the hot tub but it was spring break
Check in was extremely painful and front desk service was often missing. Error in billing on checkout was not fixed, because a manager wast available until later in the day.
This weekend booking hotels with Expedia has been a nightmare I donât think it will be booking through here anymore. Checking into the grand forks lodge took 20 minutes waiting on someone to come to the front desk. Again we booked expecting a clean and nice room and itâs gross. The blanket that was in the room for the twin bed was shoved in the drawer so itâs clearly not clean, the pull out beds gross. There is nasty stuff all over the bathroom door the toilet is gross. I am so frustrated.
