The room and hotel were nothing more than mediocre. The hotel was gorgeous when you first enter, and the staff was incredibly friendly. BUT, the booking did not make it clear that there was a night club on the 15th floor. I was under the impression that there was a bar/restaurant that was family friendly. Not only was it not family friendly, but the noise that came from this night club was far louder than the average NYC noise. Which kept both kids up each of the 4 nights we stayed.
Also, many hotels have a small store where you can get water or snacks at any time. This hotel did not offer that and if you wanted to get water, you could refill your own bottles in the weight room.
Lastly, there was mold in the shower that was visible. I have a 1 year old who needs a bath each night and wants to touch anything she sees. For such a beautiful hotel and great location, this was a disappointment.
