We loved our stay here. The rooms are comfortable though not the newest. The location is great, a minute walk from the main street and on the bank if the river, so that you can enjoy the beautiful scene of the flowing river. The rooms are nicely, Woodley old style decorated. We stayed three in the room (two adults and a daughter) and it was very comfortable. It is surely a very good value for the money.
Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. More restaurants and scenery spots are within 5 to 10 minutes drive away. In the day time, the hotel's surrounding is very quiet but at night it is a bit noisy. We stayed in a tent villa which was slightly away from bars outside so it was less noisy. Overall the hotel is worth the price.
When I booked the hotel, I checked that the review did say that it's near town but quiet. When I checked in, the hotel staff gave me a room close to the road. I said that I would prefer somewhere away from the road because I can't sleep if it's noisy. So they were very kind and put me in a room farthest away from the road. However when night time came, there were bars nearby having really loud music. So I found it really quite noisy. I guess if you would like to be near the town centre and don't mind the noise, then this would be a nice hotel as it's just by the river. During the day, it was really quiet and peaceful. Just noisy during the night when the bars are all open.
Cool hotel - Just yards away from the main Walking Street but nice and quiet. The rooms have a cabin feel. Great semi open-air rainforest shower. Charming Thai wooden armoire. The lighting is very dim, so I had to use my phone to read anything non-electronic.
Very friendly staff as we found all over Thailand. Beautiful gardens and right beside the Pai River. Breakfast is served in the pavilion style reception area. We didnât eat there but it looked good.
Important note here that I wish I had known....we stayed 2 nights at the end of January. I donât know what the temps are there generally, but the mornings were freezing! - like down jacket cold. But it soon warmed up into the 80s.
All in all a very nice stay and great little town
Loved the large room and the decor. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was lovely. I wish I could have had time to relax in the hammock, but my trip was too short. I also did not try the restaurant.
The staff was friendly and the location was incredibly convenient to everything in town. I would stay here again and can recommend Pai Vimaan to others. 2 thumbs up!
We loved our stay. Next time we will stay longer. Awesome location next to the river and away from street noise. Very clean, friendly staff, fast check-in, comfortable room, good breakfast. Stay here unless you prefer bargain basement guesthouses.
Clean and tidy room, nice tree house structure with views, close to night markets and bars, you can pop into the bars or have few bought to your tree house if you like quiet, will book again when visit next time.
It was really nice Bungalow style hotel. It's surrounded by green trees and birds making us feel like in the woods. But still it was clean and free from bugs. Restroom and shower was clean and convenient. Got hot water as well.
Pai is very attractive and peaceful small town. Everything is close from this hotel. Crowded pub was just nearby, but was not noisy at night.
Breakfast was nice with lots of vegetables.
Willing to stay here again if we visit Pai next time.
What a gem. Right on the river and right near the action but rooms not affected by the noise. Nice garden attracting butterflies and covered hammocks and a table so you can relax by the river for a nap or computer work. Waking up to roosters and the sun reflecting off the river was quite peaceful. Much needed on long holidays. Front desk staff not super attentive nor do they have great English skills but still better than some. Room had superior linens, fairly reliable wifi, good a/c and shower. Cons would be that the heavy wooden bathroom doors were difficult to navigate and windows in bathroom don't seal shut. Fridge in room but no safe. Room doors are merely a deterrent-- lightweight and feel like you could just pull them open (damaging the doors). Had a tv but I never turned it on. Wasn't sure how to get to hotel when dropped off by the bus but found it just a few blocks away. No taxis really in Pai so being within walking distance of the bus station is essential. Would not have been comfortable with more than just a pack tho. I would love to stay here again. Lod/Lot cave was amazing!!
