Cheyanne at the front desk was extremely helpful when the system showed I had two reservations. She remained positive and friendly even though she had serval people needing her attention.
We were greeted by such a sweet hostess. She learned our plans and asked us about our day when we came back to the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean. The fridge was the coldest one we have ever dealt with and that was fantastic with how hot and humid it was outside. Cold water was refreshing! If we ever go back there, this is the hotel we will choose again!
This was the state in which our room was in when we got to our hotel. Which means they obviously donât clean or check the rooms before new guests arrive. I asked for a refund and they said they donât do refunds. I said I wouldnât be staying here ever. So waiting to hear back on refund
Great location near Texas A&MâŠfor graduation. Very clean, great staff at front desk (multiple days), very clean and well appointed rooms

The hotel was great, the check in person was brand new (her second day), she forgot to tell us a few things but it wasnât a big deal. She didnât tell us where the elevators were, breakfast hours, or check out time (easy enough to figure out ourselves). In the middle of the night my son got sick with food poisoning and ended up getting sick ALL over the carpet near the bed several times. The front desk got us extra towels and was very compassionate. We went out as soon as stores opened in the morning and cleaned the carpets that he was sick on piled everything dirty into the tub. The housekeeper was very understandable and compassionate. We will stay here again on our next trip to see our niece, the only negative we had about the hotel is that the pool was cold and there was no spa. Weâre hoping the pool will be warmer next time.
PS- Breakfast was great which was a nice bonus after a night of zero sleep caring for my son.
I booked my stay at midnight for that day. Drove to the hotel to check in and was told the booking was not active until the afternoon. The hotel was not full. I asked if anything could be done and I was told they would cancel the stay I booked and I could rebook at the desk. The person at the front desk quoted a cost considerably higher than the rate I booked. Also since the booking was for the same day they would not be able to refund me or offer any discounts. Never was talking to a manager mentioned. It was a take it or leave it scenario according to the person at the desk. La Quinta isnât a $300 a night kind of place. I walked at 1:00 am and went to another hotel. Something certainly COULD have been done but wasnât. Never staying at a La Quinta again. On a side note the hotel right next door where I went was very run down and cost basically the same. Skip that one too.
