I booked this hotel for one night on March 17th. However, on the 16th, Costa Rica announced it was closing its borders because of covid-19. Believing it too risky to leave the country, I messaged the hotel to tell them that I was going to cancel my trip and my stay. I asked if I would be able to get my money back. The manager kindly messaged me and said that would be no problem as they were not going to charge my credit card until I arrived.
I wish them the best during this time of crisis and hope I will be able to stay there in the future.
