Our experience at the E-Z 8 Motel was beyond disappointing. As soon as we arrived, we were alarmed by the number of homeless individuals and people openly using drugs around the property. It immediately felt unsafe and unwelcoming.
We were told our room had been “upgraded,” but it was in terrible condition. The walls were chipped and stained, with actual boogers smeared on them. A clothes hanger was barely attached to the wall, the lamp was broken and rusted, and the interior side of the door was filthy. The bathroom was just as bad — the sink was falling apart, the exhaust fan was dangling from the ceiling, and the smoke detector kept beeping, likely due to a low battery — a serious safety concern.
The overall state of the room and property was unacceptable. We chose to cut our losses and left to book a room at a reputable hotel instead. If you value cleanliness, safety, or basic comfort, avoid this place at all costs
