The overall stay was decent however the beds were very uncomfortable, paint chipping from the walls. There were also extra charges that they did not make known on time of booking. We also couldnt use the pool or hot tub because it closed too early on a weekend was very disappointing! Wont be staying there again.
Bad experience with the reservation. I arrived to the resort and no body was in the front desk when in the application say is 24/7 front desk, not answer the phone either the emergency contact.
We checked out a day early as room was not clean and we kept getting bit at night from mosquitoes or bed bugs. The hotel manager was going to refund us the last day that we had originally planned to stay but he said he canât since itâs bought from Expedia. He recommended calling Expedia for the refund and said that if they call him, he will let them know he doesnât mind refunding Expedia. Expedia service was horrible! They said they called , but they didnât .. I want the last night reservation back , even if itâs in reward points ..
No phone number for emergency room was flooding they did not want to help and we had nowhere else to go and they lied about giving us a discount and charged us full price and we had to stay in a flooded room I do not recommend this hotel
OMG...Nooo!!! This place is in need of a complete gut and renovation! Units are condos with individual owners. Ours had furniture from the 80âs, the air conditioner didnât work and the pool closed. Literally looked like an exact replica of the Golden Girlâs apartment. Final straw came when after a comped upgrade to a supposed better unit..we found BED BUGS...yes you read it right BED BUGS!!! Worst hotel experience ever!
We stayed at the Palms in 2019 and returned in 2020 expecting the same experience as our last. There were no staff upon checkin, our room had a broken bed, nasty floors, a blood splatter on the wall and was not what we had paid for. The pool was closed which was not listed when we made our reservation, the resort waited until we were on our way down to send out an automated phone call to let us know. It took 4 hours of our children not being able to step on the floor for hotels.com to be able to reach someone with Palms resort in order to be able to transfer us elsewhere. hotels.com did everything that they could to makeup for the insufficiency of Palms resort, Please do not ruin the first night of your vacation by booking here like we did.
Our hotel room was dirty. There was urine all over the toilet in the bathroom when we arrived. The beds were uncomfortable and the blankets seemed to be dirty. Staff was rude and stereotyped based on our age at check-in. Maintenance was drilling into the walls in the room next to us very early in the morning. You could hear everything in the street.
Our room assignment upon arrival was not acceptable. Front desk very quickly responded and offered another room. Much better and matched our confirmation rm type. Indoor pool. closed but outdoor pool heated. Kids had fun.
Rooms need update and felt a bit uneasy in the area . Front desk agents great and very helpful.
