The hotel is really nice, the architecture is beautiful (we really liked the area where they serve breakfast). The rooftop has an amazing view, and the sunset from there is stunning.
Staff are just great, the cook, the woman that serves the breakfast, and all three John, Carlos, and Maiguel were great to us. We were here when the coronavirus lockdown was announced so we came back for one more night (we had to wait for our flight), and everyone was really helpful. We really felt like at home.
The location is also great. The Walled City is extremely busy and loud, but because the hotel is towards the edge (in front of the wall), it's more quiet and it feels like a haven.
Only thing is there were a few small details like a door handle that fell and the stairs of the pool were a bit wobbly (not a big deal for a small pool).
If we were ever going to come back to Cartagena, we'd choose this hotel again.
This little hotel is perfect. Great room and a fantastic staff. Location is right in the center of the walled city. Made to order breakfast. We will stay here again next time.
This is a gorgeous hotel tucked away in the heart of the Walled City in Cartagena. The moment you step in through the front door, you immediately relax, cast off all your troubles and officially enter vacation mode. Something about white walls, high ceilings with thick wooden beams, touches of nautical combined with southeast Asian decor, giant lush plants and a super friendly, professional and accommodating host by the name of Carlos Fernandez makes you doubt you ever want to return home. Hotel Noi is a beautiful place to seek solace after a long, hot and exhausting day of sightseeing and exploring all the charms Cartagena has to offer. I definitely recommend staying at Hotel Noi if you prize exclusivity, comfort and relaxation.
Our experience was one of a kind. The hotelâs accommodations and feel was unique. I have to give great thanks to John and Carlos for their amazing hospitality and assistance with tour bookings and getting to know us. Something as simple as knowing how I wanted my coffee before my morning run was very special. The decor was impecable , the owners really know how to make a place special and unforgettable. Thank you again for a great experience.
This boutique hotel is very beautiful, nicely decorated and the grounds are well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the AC works great! They allowed us to check-in early; which was great because our flight got in at 8 am and they even brought a plate of fresh cut fruit as a welcome. Breakfast was made to order with a good selection of different options, and fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and assortment of fresh fruit. Finally, the rooftop pool has a nice view of the city and the sunset. Everything was wonderful and John and Carlos were great hosts! Will definitely be back!
Fantastic staff at this quiet, unique hotel (only 7 rooms total). We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning in the courtyard and the rooftop pool for the views of the city and the ocean. The location allowed us to be out of the "hustle and bustle", but still five to ten minute walk from anywhere we wanted to go within the walled city. Definitely recommend.
Recebemos apenas 1 reembolso, o outro fomos obrigados a pagar.
Hotel was really nice and we liked it a lot at first... The night before checkout date we decided to extend our stay here by a day and asked the front desk. They said ok: we can keep the same room, and they'll take care of everything at check out. The next day at lunch I get a text from the hotel asking me to check out. They said the extra night didn't go through and somebody else had already booked it. I scrambled to change my whole day's plans, booked a different hotel and moved my stuff on 1 hour notice...
But it's not over. A week later I checked my bank account. There was an extra $400 charge from Hotel Noi on top of the original $300 reservation from hotels.com. When I called to dispute the charge the hotels.com rep said that I made a second reservation at the front desk... So not only did they make me move and book a new hotel on 1 hour notice, but they also more than double charged me. Language barrier wasn't an issue here - the staff is bilingual. Hotels.com said they could only refund the original $300 reservation, and credited me the $100 difference as a free night. Not an ideal arrangement since I would rather have a full refund of the $400 that Hotel Noi fraudulently charged.
Loved this place! Excellent place thatâs clean, elegant with helpful, respectful staff. Room was perfect. Definitely going back next time My wife and I head to Cartagena.
Great boutique hotel, perfect location in the walled city, close to lots of good places to eat, very quiet, comfortable, and delicious home made breakfast.
