The owners werenât very friendly. We had to ask for extra clean towels. The room above us was so noisy we couldnât sleep. When we did ask for towels, we got dirty looks and then they would come back and get them. They booked our parking spot with cones, in the pouring rain. We wonât ever give our $ to this establishment again.
We booked a 12 night stay to cover our trip to Houston. The first room we stayed in was not suitable, the next morning I spoke to reception and we were immediately moved. The room was spacious and had good facilities, a microwave and fridge cut our food bills down a lot. The air con was great and well needed as it was very warm when we stayed. The housekeepers were great, nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed our stay. The only downsides were the traffic noise, as the hotel is right on the motorway it was very loud, ear plugs definitely recommended and the lack of public transport. We did not hire a car, so had to order an Uber each time we went out, which soon racked up. You can walk to local stores and restaurants, but only along the motorway which does not have any pavements, so is a bit hairy. Overall the hotel was good and the staff were nice, its just not very convenient
Service was horrible bathroom never cleaned, no food offered like it said to many Drug atticis broken, toilet seat handle asked for non smoker room stuck with a disgusting room.. would not recommend it to a pet
The stay was okay. Paid for a non smoking room, but due to a possibly overbooked property, I was moved to a smoking room which I initially had no issue with until I got into the room. It smelled heavily not only like cigarettes but also literally like burnt plastic that I could not get over. The walls were dirty and stained with what looked like spit stains, the bed and blankets had cigarette burns, there was a golf ball sized hole in the wall near the bathroom which had a couple roaches come in and out of, 3 lights in the room did not work, and the AC vent cover in the bathroom was broken with dust falling directly onto the toilet.
It was about $250 for the weekend which is why Iâm not too upset, as I was just glad I had a place to sleep during my visit, but still wish it was a little better. Oh well, maybe itâll be worth the extra money to just stay somewhere I can expect the comfort level advertised
