The Porter Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton propose 2 des bars/lounges et une piscine couverte, mais aussi une salle de fitness ouverte 24 h/24 et un sauna.
The Porter was modern and nice, however the lighting in the room was pretty dim. We left our room at 11 in the morning and even though we requested fresh wash cloths at least, no one came to clean the room or replace the washcloths. The dead bolt didn't work. The lotion bottle was empty. But none of these things warranted a review compared to the clock alarm going off at 5:50am. That at least we could turn off. The neighboring alarm going off at 6am, apparently in an empty room, we couldn't. The front desk didn't seem to care at all, but at least said they'd let the cleaning crew know... so hopefully this doesn't happen to you. And yes, we should know to always check the alarm. But who uses an alarm clock any more?
I just want to say thank you for an amazing service, this was my second time staying in this hotel and I will continue to stay here in the future, thank you for an amazing experience for me and my children.
Service was bad they didnt seem like they wanted to be helpful at all no freezers in the in room refrigerator and when asking the frount desk if they had one i could put 2 ice packs i had for my medicine they said they had no freezers and the parking garage they use for valet is so much more expensive when the one right across the street
Such a fun stay! Stayed on the 15th floor after signing up for Hilton Honors which was a treat. The rooftop bar was a neat space to hang out at. I wasnât expecting our stay to be as classy as it was (it was a great surprise).
Only bummer was when we went to the pool one morning, there were no towels. Eventually one of the staff restocked them while we were swimming.
Iâd recommend this spot to anyone! Loved it!
The place was noisy. They did allow me to pay with a card in the restaurant. But when I went to the front desk they should have been able to accommodated me.. I was frustrated I couldnât sleep because of all the noise.
Excellent staff/service. Very clean. Minimalist-style rooms are in-style now but I do not like them much. I would rather have a chest of drawers for my clothes than a large, blank low table for my suitcase. I also don't need an expansive countertop for one coffeemaker. A larger closet was probably removed to put in that counter. I would rather have a larger closet.
Pool was small and overly crowded and dirty. Staff was horrible and would ignore you. Lounge was so loud we couldnât hear ourselves speak. Restaurant was overpriced and food and drinks were some of the worst Iâve had.
The walls here are really thin, so itâs easy to hear noise from neighboring roomsâespecially at night. Unfortunately, the overnight staff wasnât very helpful when I reached out about it.
Even things like the bathroom sliding doors are loud enough to hear through the walls, which made it hard to relax or sleep.
When I contacted the front desk about the ongoing noise, Amanda was not very accommodating. Instead of trying to help, she seemed annoyed and mentioned I was calling too much, which was disappointing. I called 3 times in 5 hours(11pm - 4am)
Overall, this wasnât a pleasant stay, and I wouldnât come back or recommend it to others.
