This was the worst experience of hotel stays that I have endured! Dealing with mice infestation at my home and then weather causing a power outage (at a very early hour of the day) I need a reprieve.
I went online at hotels.com, checked for availability and found that there were pet friendly rooms available at Red Lion inn and suites in bend Oregon. To be sure that I could check in at that hour though since it was really early, I called the establishment and explained my situation, they said they would be happy to help me!
Upon arrival I was hit with multiple fees that I did not expect so I did not get to make it a two nights stay.
After settling in and walking my dog I sat down to eat breakfast and watch a little television. The screen was blank. I looked in the back of it and it was destroyed, they were exposed wires The box was broken and etc. I called The front office immediately and told him of the situation. They said they would send maintenance as soon as they could.
Maintenance arrived and took about an hour to fix the television.
My ride decided it was time for him to go home and he left. Not even 3 minutes after, to my total surprise.. The maintenance man open my door without notice or knocking, he looked around, stared at me and just stood there. I yelled for him to shut the door. He did.
The first lady at the desk told me he had Alzheimer's, gave me some free Skittles and a late checkout. The morning manager refused to tell me why.. she said it was her busin
