I traveled to Marrakech by myself for the week and I really felt like the Dar Tiflet was home during my stay. It was a fantastic little riad with breakfast on the terrace each morning (not included but splurge on it!). The space was not luxurious but more than adequate, with decor and touches that made you feel like you are really immersed in Morocco. It's clean with all the modern amenities, but a riad is not the W. Do some research to understand what a riad is before you book, because it's not a hostel, but not a luxury hotel. It's it's own unique thing. The team, including the owners, were amazingly hospitable, which is why I'd recommend this riad over any hotel. Yacine and Marc chatted with me during breakfast and even offered to take me on a few short walks to help get my bearings. These special touches helped make me feel at home, plus their recommendations were all great! If you want a more local experience, this is the way to go. The Dar Tiflet is walkable to anything you'll want to see in the Medina. Go in with an open mind, but as you're sipping mint tea on the terrace, watching the sun set over Marrakech, hearing the call to prayer reverberating over the city, you'll realize you made the right choice. I can't say enough good things about the Dar Tiflet, so I'll just write another review the next time I go!
