Rovinj

What you need to know before you go

Rovinj feels more Italian than Croatian, offering a unique experience you might not find in other towns along the western coast of the Istrian Peninsula. The fishing town has pebbly beaches with amazing sunset views, as well as pine groves sheltering you from scorching afternoons.

Italian influence strongly runs through Rovinj’s Old Town, with colourful houses, fashion boutiques, cafes, pizzerias, and trattorias lining its cobblestone laneways. You can see the local lifestyle and shop for fresh produce at the town’s farmer’s market, located near Valdibora Square. After exploring its streets and scenic harbour, climb to the top of the Church of St. Euphemia’s steeple for panoramic views of Rovinj and the Adriatic Sea.
