Pont del Diable

Ferreres Aqueduct or Pont del Diable is an impressive aqueduct built by the Romans in the 1st century. A great spot to kick off your family trip in Tarragona, you can climb the hills around the conduit to get tremendous views of this ancient structure, which spans over 200 metres in length.
The park around the aqueduct is excellent for a leisurely stroll – you might even encounter local wildlife such as lizards. Walking over Ferreres Aqueduct is a highlight, as you can see the surrounding pine forests and shoot fantastic holiday photos as keepsakes.

Playa de Regueral is a 1.2 km stretch of sand where you can unwind with the family. This beach in Cambrils also offers plenty of activities, from banana boat rides and jet-skiing to floating bouncing castles for the little ones.

Castell de la Santa Creu is an 11th-century limestone fortress sitting on a hilltop in Calafell, a coastal town 30 km northeast of the city of Tarragona. The beautifully preserved castle is a delight for history buffs, but also children who will enjoy stories about knights told by local guides and information displays on the premises.
The panoramic view from the top of the castle is superb – the colourful rooftops of Calafell, lush hills, and the seafront lie just at your feet. Tickets to Castell de la Santa Creu cost around €4 for adults and children.
