The room looked like it was last done is the late 80's. Smelled of smoke, hair in the shower, and overall really bad setup. Yes, I should have requested another room but at check in they made it should like the last ground floor room (which I wanted) and I was exhausted after a really long drive. Thankfully I bring my own sheets and cleaning supplies (yes, I am THAT person. Get sick enough after hotel stays and ya learn!). I was always able to get parking close to my room area, so that is a plus. It was also near where I needed to be.
I have never given a negative review on any hotel that I have booked through Hotels.com. This is a first.
This property is horrible. The rooms are dated, smell, and furnishings are old and sparse. The living room of our 2 bedroom "suite" had a beat up love seat and nothing else other than a small dated TV. There were no pictures on the walls, just white walls everywhere. The beds were two full sized beds, in rooms that could easily hold a queen or a king.
The photos on their website do NOT match the rooms.
The bathrooms are dated, in bad shape. Counters are like 2 feet off the ground, tub did not drain, and had no plug even if you wanted to take a bath.
Will never stay at this property, or any Residence Inn that is not an interior sort of property.
This hotel was great, room was extremely comfortable so nice to have a full kitchen. Staff was attentive and the breakfast was great. My only complaint is that I got an error message every time I tried to use the WiFi and ended up needing to use my cell phones hot spot.
