We were originally booked at the Aries Apartment through Expedia. A few days prior to departure, Expedia informed us that we had to contact them to change accommodations. We did that, only to receive another email saying we had never contacted them. We called them during a layover, and after two hours, were informed of the accommodation change to the Miso. Upon arrival in SGN, we arrived two hours early and waited at a restaurant until the check-in time. Although we were confirmed and had receipts, we were told by the residence that they did not have our reservation nor room available. After hours of dealing with Expedia and this accommodation, we were told we were on our own for one night to find our own accommodation. We did that, with significant financial loss and hours of wasted time. The next day, the same operator of the MIso accommodation sent a car to take us to another accommodation, which was the Opera Residences. This was a nice accommodation, but outside the District 1 area of the city which we had originally booked and the area we had already made many plans.
Unfortunately, after a few days we received “urgent” messages saying there was a scheduling conflict and we MUST move immediately. Those messages occurred while we were on a bus tour hours before we could return. Despite our objections, all of our things were packed and moved without us being there and against our protests to the Crest Residences. This accommodation was vastly inferior.
