Great disappointment, especially considering the online reviews for this hotel. The location is perfect, but the services do not match the price.
When we arrived around noon, the receptionist was far from friendly, and our room wasn’t ready. We left our luggage and were told we would be contacted by phone or text when the room was available. However, we received no call or message.
When we returned at 3 PM, the staff had changed, and they asked if we had received any information about the hotel’s organization—nothing.
Please note that we were at the Lamee, not the Topaz; these are two separate hotels, which we only discovered upon arrival.
As for the room, there were stains on the wall, ceiling, and unwashed curtains. We also had an issue with hot water in the shower, which was only fixed the next day upon our request.
It would be appropriate to provide a kettle with tea or herbal infusions for a hotel of this so-called standard.
In summary, the location is perfect, but for a VIP Access hotel at this room rate (around €375 per night), it falls far short of the standards set by the Marriott Courtyard in Vienna.
