Nice hotel with lovely staff who were very helpful and accommodating. Hotel was nicely decorated and had a very authentic feel. Perfect for anyone who wants to have the proper Moroccan experience. Good access to local shops and amenities. No TVs in the room, but had WiFi.
What a gorgeous, unique hotel with the most amazing host! Staying in a riad (translated as "mini-palace") meant we stayed in the medina (old city), which was fascinating, with its twisty streets and right next to the souk (Moroccan market). The hotel owner, Rafik, could not have been a better host. He showed us around, and even made herbal tea for my cough. One tip: call or email ahead to ask the hotel to send a cab to the airport so that you can find your way there.
If you are looking for some authentic experience of staying in a Raid then a good choice. Otherwise stick to the regular hotels if you want all the typical creature comforts.
Small but far more comfortable than any other big hotel. Excellent location with all major attractions at walking distance. We arrived at about midnight when outside of the hotel looked deserted however in the morning it was an entirely different atmosphere. Though entrance to the hotel is through a narrow street about 80 - 100 meters off one of the main road but even that narrow street is very busy and lively during day time. Once inside the secure entrance of the hotel it is a very friendly and homely environment. Very clean, tidy, calm and quiet. Spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Specially Mohammed and Rafique are there day and night to help and to guide. Hotel management is always willing to make and serve dinners as per your choice. Definitely Riad Bahja will be our first choice if we have chance to visit Morocco again. We will highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Ins Zentrum lĂ€uft man ca. 5-10 Minuten.
