They cancelled our reservation, mediocre service
Our stay was not that great. We arrived and the hotel had cancelled our reservation.
Our reservation said "you will pay at the hotel..." but the hotel tried to charge us in advance, my card was declined so they cancelled the reservation. They claim they have tried to contact me.
I asked why they did not contact Hotels.com, who could have sent me an email, and they said hotels.com did not pick up the phone. So they just cancelled my reservation.
They ended up placing me and my friend in a spare room, one bed.
In addition to this cancellation surprise, the service is bad.
We went for dinner, it was 9. We ate our food and then we asked for dessert and they told us the kitchen had closed.
The next morning we tried to have a coffee at 7.15 (all the coffee was already on the table), only a coffee, because we knew that breakfast starts at 7.30. We picked a cup of coffee and they told us to put it back because it was for another group.
