The room looked really neat upon arrival. Staying for only one night, I didn't use the drawers or sit at the table. I slept well, and really thought I had finally found the place to stay when I'm in central London. But... Before leaving the room, I thoroughly checked everything, not wanting to leave something behind. That's when I found bits of crisps on the chair, and, icing on the cake, men's boxershorts in a drawer. This makes me strongly suspect the cleaning team doesn't do their job really thoroughly. I'm not saying they should clean the inside of every drawer everyday, but at least check they are empty... On the same subject, the laundry bags on the stairs don't look good either: clean sheets aren't that clean anymore after lying on the stairs for hours, and dirty laundry obstructing the way (at all time) isn't that nice either.
I reported the findings in my room when checking out and also wrote an email to the hotel one week ago mentioning those facts, but got no answer to this day...
Otherwise I found the location central, the room quiet and comfortable with good bedding. The staff was nice too, the breakfast was ok.
