I arrived at the hotel only to find the doors closed, making it impossible to enter. I had to ask a guest sitting outside for assistance on how to get inside. Once we gained entry, we discovered that there was no power in the hotel, and we were informed that it would be restored sometime between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m.
The hotel clerk was irritable and unhelpful, failing to inform us about the best way to reach our room. Overall, it was rather an unpleasant experience.
The room itself was fine, but there was no dining option available at the hotel, so we decided to go to the IHOP next door, which did have power. However, I do not recommend going there— the food and service were horrible!
The next morning, I went to the front desk after the power was finally restored around 11 p.m. the previous night. The clerk on duty (I believe her name was Kiara) was pleasant and issued a refund for half of our night's stay due to the inconvenience.
In the breakfast area, there were highchairs in the back, but none were available in sight, and no staff offered to assist those with small children.
On a positive note, the pool area was clean, and the lifeguard was friendly and attentive.
Checkout in the morning was quick, and the clerk was very pleasant and helpful.
