We booked the Family Room for 2 nights. Despite the fact the room is presented as a 6 guest room (3 double beds), the hotel charges an additional amount of 20 USD per person beyond 3.
The room looked and felt like a cave, without real windows. The rare natural light sources could not be covered, despite the hotel claims there are blackout curtains.
One of the bottom sheets was torn on about 5 inches.
The trash bags of the hotel were stacked right at the bottom of the stairs leading to 3 rooms including the Family Room.
The tiled floor of the so called garden area was filthy.
The tiny swimming pool was dirty, not clear at all but looking milky. We definitely could not use it, a pity when you consider the high temperatures of Valladolid.
On checkin, we were handed 2 vouchers for a free coffee. When we reminded them we were 4 guests, they refused to give us 2 more, arguing this offer is only valid for 2 guests, despite the fact we were charged 40 USD for additional guests.
Of cours we did not use the vouchers as we did not want to pay for 2 more coffees that should have been free.
Upon checkout, I handed back the unused coffee vouchers to the hotel managers, telling her my feeling about this situation. No excuse at all : she just stuck to the hotel policy that she said was 2 vouchers per room.
The entire experience was a disaster.
