Sadly the only negative part to our amazing trip to thailand.
So we had a problem as soon as we checked in. The two bunk beds in our family room were crawling with ants. The staff were informed and came to verify, however told us that housekeeping would come the next day to clean it for us. We informed them that that doesn't help our situation as we are short two beds and asked to speak to the manager. We were told the manager is away and will not respond to any messages. We told them that's absurd and the fact that nothing is being done to help us contact someone who can change our situation is ridiculous. We asked if we could switch rooms, initially we were told no as the staff claimed the hotel was full only to be told minutes later that a suite with 2 queen beds could be given to us. We then asked to view the room before we accept and to our bemusement was told we could absolutely not view the room before we took them. Which we said doesnt make sense, we cant view a room to make sure its up to par before we accept it? Especially when you had ants in the other one? The next day the ants were still in our bunk beds rendering 2 beds unusable. One of my friends who still chose to sleep in one of them was riddled with bites. We brought this up and were told once again, nothing could be done and that the manager/owner is unreachable. Also that under no circumstance would they give us a refund.
