For the price I expected a basic accomodation. But this did not even meet that level of expectation. Renovations were going on as the motel has been bought out. So maybe things will improve in the future.
The room was very stuffy and AC did not work. The tv reception was ghosting with double images. Wifi was so slow I was unable to call up emails. Most disappointed was the lack of interest or friendliness of the staff. My phone was briefly misplaced in the morning and I retraced my steps back to the room. When I went to the front desk to inquire if it had been turned in the only response was "lots of people around, probably it has been stolen". They did not even offer to take down my information incase it was turned in. Luckily I found it in the parking lot it had dropped from a bag carrying items.
Sometimes a little empathy goes a long way when people are stressed. I, however, was met with indifference.
Disgusting. Filthy. Then overcharged on credit card and they blamed Hotels.com when the charges clearly came from the hotel. Hotels.com wete not much help either. Bank investigating. From other reviews, this has happened before. Bugs. Gross!
Stayed in a newly renovated room, it was unfinished. There was a couch in the hall in front of my room which was awkward. The staff were very friendly and kind. When the renovations are complete- it would be decent place to stay.
Tired building with worn out fixtures and fittings. Dirty valance, stained carpets, no AC, not even basic amenities in room. No fridge, no TV remote, blocked sink, painted cinder block walls (no drywall). The most basic of breakfasts - very disappointing. Wish Iâd spent the extra $30 and gone elsewhere.
They are doing renovations, so there is a bit of a mess in parts of the hotel. Our room was clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast wasnât great, not a lot of choices and no drinks but coffee.
They were still building rooms. They were hammering on the walls while I was trying to rest. I didnât have a TV to watch. People were noisy in the hallway at late hours.
Our âfirstâ room door didnât close .. we waited with maintenance to fix and they couldnât so we moved to another room where toilet didnât work ..maintenance tried to fix but couldnât also there were open wires from the aircon machine by window sticking out.. we got out of there as fast as we could with a full refund (the most positive part of this booking) . We realized the hotel was under renovation on the first floor so only rooms available were on the second floor . There were a huge number of younger people on the floor we were on ready to party as they were hired tree planters from all over and many staying together in single rooms a few of them were vaping and were very obvious about it as well . Like they were the only ones in the hotel including big cases of beer brought up to them as well they ordered . As we have a service dog that was another problem as I had requested a dog friendly room was told they were gone but they did find one after I told them about my request . As it was a long weekend , it was difficult to find alternate accommodation, but we did and the next hotel were most helpful and welcomed our dog .. were far more accommodating we had to pay alot more but well worth it .
Overall cleanliness was sub par. Staff was friendly. No key available for room as machine broken. Be annoying if you wanted to come and go. It sufficed for a quick one night stay.
Nice little motel. Brand new carpet in our room. Free breakfast included pancakes, muffins, yogurt, coffee, cereal. Great location. Was able to walk to dinner.
Everything was good , only am the one who checked in pretty early so end up been put in a room nearby exit door and stair so now its big question mark for me that do
Ugh. The place was in the middle of renovations and one hallway was a mess of drywall and random trash. The room itself was badly in need of renovation with faded bedspreads and old, weary bathroom fixtures. When I checked into thd room and had unpacked, I saw the toilet had been used and there were no coffee pods.
The staff didnât seem to communicate well with each other. I had told them I had two dogs but they acted as if this was not communicated to them
