This was our first trip to Marrakech. So many riads to choose from, however, looking at previous reviews we selected El Hara.
I have to say we were.not disappointed.
Once the booking had been made, we received a welcome message from staff at El Hara. Any questions i raised prior to our trip were responded to quickly, with relevant useful information.
We opted for the collection from and too the airport and was worth it.
Once at El Hara, we recejved a friendly welcome. The place is beautiful and we had our first introduction to mint tea during the booking in process.
Our room was large, pleasent and importantly very comfortable. The breakfasts were varied and certainly kept you going for the day.
The staff ... everyone was very pleasent and nothing was too much. All tne small staff team appeared genuinly happy to be there and this gave a feeling of family, which you were made to feel part off. In this business staff are there to make your stay easy, so they have to give a certain impression but at El Hara you never felt this way. You felt you were tneir personal guests or family and made to feel so.
The location was great, opposite the walls to Medina with an entry point a short walk away. All the areas you would want to visit are within walking distance. Any excursions further afield can be arranged via staff at El Hara.
The only complaint, is that we had to return to the real world of a cold March in the UK at the end of our stay.
I would highly recommend El Hara.
