2/10 Médiocre

Meh. Not worth it.
Check in was weird. Guy wrote down my credit card number but had no machine to run it thru. Kinda sketchy. Next day, another employee asked for my picture ID again because the guy from the previous day didn’t make a copy of it. Sliding door in the living room didn’t lock. Safe was too small and wouldn’t have been able to fit a laptop if I’d had one with me. One of the shower knobs shocked you while you were in the shower. Not sure how that’s possible but it happened. The worst part was upon check out. Staff claimed we had stained one of their sheets and it was going to cost $250 MXN to clean. The supposed stain was actually a soap stain from where the sheets were not rinsed properly but there’s no arguing with people who are trying to cheat you out of more money. I was also charged about $7 USD more on my credit card than the agreed upon amount when I made the reservation and I know it had nothing to do with the exchange rate. If anything, it should’ve been less because of the exchange rate. Showers were supplied with salt water. Never had that before but not cool. We had our whole family visiting and the only nice thing about this place was the fact that there were three bedrooms and each had their own bathroom. If you need the extra space, you might be okay with staying here but if not, save your money as it is not worth the cost for a “beach” property when you can’t even walk to it or see it from the hotel.
