Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi is a seaside city on the east coast of Texas, fronting the Gulf of Mexico. Its main highlight is Mustang Island State Park, a wide and green expanse with clean, sandy beaches. Here, you can see sea turtles laying eggs and rare Aplomado falcons swooping overhead. Kiteboarding and windsurfing are very popular during the wintertime.

Keen anglers won’t want to miss Red Dot Fishing Pier, where you can cast your rod and sit back while admiring ocean views. The Oso Bay Wetland Preserve is covered with paved trails, allowing easy exploration of the wildlife sanctuary. After, head back to downtown Corpus Christi for a filling dinner of Texas barbecue and beers.
